The 11th Limerick Newcastle West Scouts opened in October, 2012.
We are based in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, Ireland and are part of Limerick Scout County and Scouting Ireland.
We have active Beaver (6, 7 & 8), Cub (9, 10 & 11), Scout (12, 13, 14 & 15) and Venture Scout (15, 16 & 17) sections all lead by enthusiastic Leaders.
We are always looking for new youth members and Leaders. Word of warning though, there’s a waiting list for Beaver Scouts which is getting longer every week. We hate this waiting list and we are actively recruiting more Scouters (adults) to manage the numbers. Interested in helping out? As a Leader your child gets an automatic place.
